Qoncept Apps ("we", "us", "our") is an independent software studio based in the European Union. We build desktop and mobile applications, including DuoBolt, that respect user privacy and minimize the amount of personal data collected.
This Privacy Policy explains what information our websites and applications collect, how we process it, and the rights available to you under applicable law (including GDPR for EU users).
Information We Collect
1. Website Visit Data
Our websites (including qoncept.io, duobolt.app and related domains) automatically collect limited technical information for security and functionality purposes. This may include:
- IP address (anonymized where possible)
- Browser type and version
- Date and time of access
- Pages visited and basic aggregated page metrics
- Basic diagnostic data from Cloudflare (CDN and security logs)
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregated website metrics. In our current configuration it does not use cookies and we do not use it for profiling. It is used only to understand site performance and usage at a high level.
We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Segment, Mixpanel, or other third-party profiling trackers.
2. Application Data (General)
Our applications, including DuoBolt, are designed to function locally, with minimal data collection.
Apps may store the following locally on the device only:
- Application settings
- License status
- Local logs for troubleshooting (only sent manually by the user when requesting support)
We do not collect personal files, scan contents, or user-generated data. DuoBolt processes all duplicate file detection locally on your device.
3. Licensing and Purchases
When purchasing software through LemonSqueezy, the following information is processed by LemonSqueezy as the merchant of record:
- Name
- Billing information
- Country/region for tax purposes
- License keys issued after purchase
We do not receive or store credit card numbers or payment details.
LemonSqueezy checkout is loaded only when you choose to start a purchase (for example, by clicking "Buy DuoBolt Standard"). LemonSqueezy may set its own cookies, which are typically necessary for checkout, fraud prevention, and payment operations.
We may access license-related details in LemonSqueezy (e.g., license validity) exclusively for customer support.
4. Microsoft Store / Apple App Store (where applicable)
If our apps are distributed through official stores, those platforms may collect anonymized usage and crash reporting data according to their own policies. We do not control that data.
5. Crash Logs / Support Requests
If you contact us for support, you may choose to send logs or system information manually. This information is used solely for diagnosing the reported issue.
How We Use Information
We use collected information only for:
- Application functionality
- Handling license activation and validation
- Security and fraud prevention
- Customer support
- Compliance with legal obligations (tax, accounting, audit)
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with any third party for advertising or marketing.
Data Retention
- License and purchase records: stored by LemonSqueezy according to their legal requirements.
- Support emails: kept only as long as necessary to resolve the request.
- Application logs: remain local unless you choose to share them.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR in the EU), you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction or deletion
- Request data portability
- Object to processing
- Withdraw consent (where applicable)
