DuoBolt End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. License Grant

Upon purchasing a valid license through LemonSqueezy, you are granted a:

• Non-exclusive
• Non-transferable
• Perpetual license (one-time purchase, not a subscription)
• For the tier purchased — Standard, or Pro, which additionally unlocks the similar-photo features
• Allowing installation on up to 2 devices owned by the same user
• Across macOS and Windows

Linux builds, if released, will follow the same activation limits.

2. Free Use and the Pro Trial

The Software may be used free of charge, without a license key and without an account, for as long as you wish. Free use is subject to operational limits described in the product documentation — at the time of writing, the number of files and the total size a single removal operation may move, and the number of similar-photo groups shown per scan.

The Software also includes a 7-day Pro trial, which may be started once per device and unlocks the Pro features in full. Starting it is optional and requires no payment details.

When the trial ends, the Software does not stop working: it returns to free use under the limits above. A license key is required only to remove those limits.

3. Activation and License Checks

• The Software activates via the LemonSqueezy License API
• A hashed device identifier is used to enforce activation limits
• Occasional online validation may occur to confirm license status
• No personal files or scan results are ever transmitted

4. Restrictions

You may not:

• Circumvent or attempt to bypass trial or license enforcement
• Use the Software to distribute malware or perform unauthorized access
• Reverse engineer or modify the Software
• Resell, share, or expose your license key publicly

Violation of these terms may result in automatic license revocation.

5. Updates

Paid licenses include access to software updates for the version purchased. Major upgrades may require a new license.

DuoBolt may include optional auto-update functionality on supported platforms (e.g., Apple Sparkle for macOS).

6. Privacy

DuoBolt:

• Does not upload scan results
• Does not access personal files beyond what the user selects
• Stores settings and logs locally
• May send minimal metadata to LemonSqueezy (license validation only)

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled by LemonSqueezy, subject to their policies. We do not process payments directly.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee performance, compatibility, or suitability for any specific purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted:

• We are not liable for data loss, business interruption, or consequential damages
• Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the license

10. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union.
